Francois Bend’s Around the Bend is a secure, specialized environment for residents with memory loss. The dedicated area has a separate front entrance staffed by a team which includes a community manager, an activity coordinator, housekeeper, and nurses. Around the Bend includes 24 apartments with private bathrooms and kitchenettes, an activity room, dining room and private courtyard. Each resident has an individual care plan that is updated quarterly.
Programs and activities are created to encourage current strengths and abilities, promote cognitive function, provide meaning and joy, and stimulate reminiscence.
